Viktor Haraszti

Viktor Haraszti, a Hungarian-born saxophonist and clarinetist, was born on April 30, 1972 in Budapest.

He began his musical education by attending classical piano lessons at age of eight, at the age of eleven he took the interest in clarinet.

Clarinet was his main instrument when he applied to the famous Béla Bartók Conservatory in Budapest, which is a secondary school for young musicians. Viktor chose the saxophone immediately after graduation.

In 2000 Viktor moved to the Netherlands where he was admitted to the Constantijn Huygens Conservatory in Zwolle, and in 2002 he continued his studies at the Conservatory in Utrecht,
where he graduated cum laude in June 2005.

Since 2005, Viktor mainly worked and working as freelance musician in addition to other known
and lesser known artists. Furthermore, Viktor, working also as a studio session musician.

In the meantime, he was always busy with composing and in 2010 he began producing and recording his own music as well.
